His name is actually inspired by Melona popsicles, and this is where i realize that I've been calling him by the wrong name ( ; _ ; ). It's not entirely the wrong name though, he was suppose to be called MelonPOP first, but as I was drawing pink looked better than the green....
Sooo the base is comprised of newspaper, which was wrap in aluminum foil and then covered in cling wrap so the it would be easier to remove. Well at least I hope it would be.
One amazing find was that LaDoll has actual paper fibers within the clay, well that does make sense since it is a paper clay............I actually thought it was stone clay because of the packaging
Formed a horrifying face shape, but it did help to get a decent face length
Made a skull because why not. Although, the skull did help with the placing of the facial muslces
A long noodle shaped thing helped to shape the nose, but my carelessness knocked it off..........
To be honest, I was fucking around with the head at this point , however I did proceeded to add guide lines where the finer details should be. Well that's all the sculpting updates I have for now, hopefully more to come tomorrow!
AND FINALLY AN OMAKE: As I was sculpting, unbeknownst to me, massive amounts off clay bits fell upon my keyboard...I should take more precautions for the next time I sculpt.
